XFire with 512 and 1GB?

What would be the performance hit? I couldn't find a review that did this.

Maybe since it only uses memory from one card I could just put them in the correct slots? I haven't purchased a 2nd yet- just thinking.

your 1GB card will have 512MB's available for operation, thus rendering the half of the memory useless.

i'd suggest 2 x 1 GB cards for crossfire.

save the money and just get a 512mb card to go with your current one. it will still kick ass and you could find one for cheap used in the FS section
