ive been overclocking this thing for the past few days, and ive got it to run at 685/1746/1686

i pretty much play cod2/far cry/CSS mostly, and the most it loads at ive seen is like 55 C

how much farther could i take it?

do you think 715/1800/1710 is possible?

Anything's possible as long as it's cooled sufficiently. When you know it's crashing or artifacting, you'll know when to bump down the clocks a little.

Well, it varies in different games. CS:S might not be as stressful as Crysis may be, but I'll bet you that the ATITool program will tell you if it's artifacting. Other than that, Crysis would be a great artifact tester.

Artifacts are pretty obvious in my experience. If you don't notice them, and it doesn't crash, then it's all good, as long as you monitor temps. For me, the big artifact game is Company of Heroes, because I like beating the hell out of my gfx card on that one.
