XP Issue...Help please...

Alright here is my problem, my friend cam over and downloaded some songs on my computer and it messed it up really bad some how.

So I reinstalled windows xp. Well now whenever I start it up it comes up with a triangular yellow sign that says " Windows--System Error"

"A duplicate name exist on the system"

Does that mean I got two windows xp, installed on 1 hard drive or what?

If anyone knows how to fix it or what the problem is please let me know.
 
Edit: does it say "ERROR_DUP_NAME 52" ? Sounds like a network problem, if so go to Control Panel ----> System ------> Computer Name ------> where it says change (the button) click on it and change the computer's name.
 
Here is a screen shot, it is a network problem not system I accidently said system...

Did you try that? go to control panel/system/computer name change the computer name...not the description you have to change the name.
