Monday microsoft released SP3 RC1 but kept it pretty quite.
Can't really find many pages tht go into to much detail.

The article has the wrong link, however somebody posted the correct link in the comments to get it from microsoft's windows update server http://download.windowsupdate.com/m..._a2ca583dedcd86837796111a632efa29a23f4cc0.exe

This site is suppose to help you patch your box to get sp3 rc1 via windows update like you could do for Vista SP1 RC1
I haven't tried it yut, but am getting ready to right now.
