zalman vf700 power question.

just installed this on my 7600gt and hook up the power to the motherboard. would that be ok or should i connect it direct to the power supply? by the way this fan rocks.. it lowers my temp from 70c to 50c while playing games.

mobo is Asus P5NSLI.

plug in mobo only enables you to see the fan speed using programs like speedfan

doesn't really matter since vf700 has the fan nob thingy

psu or motherboard will yield the same results
