ZR30W & metal band around the frame?

Question for fellow ZR30W owners. The silver colored metal band that runs around the frame black frame of our monitor... have you noticed that it doesn't quite sit right (e.g., raised too much in some area and recessed too much in other)? I'm just curious if I received a cosmetic dud or if they're all like that.
