Because you could beat an 8-bit or 16-bit in an afternoon in the old days and replay later. These days it takes 100+ hours, who wants to that all over today. Only exception was FF7, that was worth it and I was teenager then. :)
None in those models that you posted earlier. They do have the option for the HD 6750 in low profile, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131448 . Other than that there are 6570 and 5570 in low profile as well.

I would avoid that company at all cost. Try talking to customer support and you will know what I mean. Website was no help at all and in the end, I tossed out a $50.00 motherboard because of it. If anythting go with either Foxconn or MSI for decent low priced board.
Go with the EVGA model becasue of the step-up program. ECS to me is a second rate company and poor customer support. I know that all 9600GT are set at 64 stream and 8800GT are set at 112 stream. If you can afford an extra $40.00, go with a 8800GT.
