I would get the Samsung XL2370 for gaming. It'll be a lot like your 226BW in terms of response but it does have a lot deeper blacks than regular tns and less backlight bleed.
I absolutely love mine, it is much nicer than the typical tn displays I've owned before. I liked mine so much I convinced a friend to get one and they feel the same way I do. For gaming I'd say its the best bang for the buck right now if you don't need any more size.
The customized key is the second from the left, it is simply a key that you can change the function of in the settings menu. Does your graphics card have a dvi port? that is what I use and haven't had any issues.
I think Samsung doesn't have the capacity to produce all the panels themselves especially in low end tns, with the 226BW it was discovered although the first batches used Samsung panels the later ones were by manufacturers like Chi Mei produced to Samsung's specs but these later panels seemed to...
well I wouldn't say that you must have missed the whole Samsung 226BW fiasco where like 3 or 4 different panels were being used and the one by Samsung themselves was much nicer.
I got my Samsung XL2370 for Christmas and love it. I've only ever used Tns but this is great for me as a pretty heavy gamer. Just yesterday a friend of mine got one after hearing me rave about it for weeks and theirs has the model XL2370-1 on the box instead of plain XL2370. I looked up on...
I just got the HIS 5770 from newegg, there is a $10 off promo code for it if you get the newsletter which brings it down to $152.99 My first impressions of it are really good my desktop seems to look a bit sharper than with my nv card (no idea why), I haven't thrown much in the way of games at...
Don't know what the heck you are talking about. Did you read the review at all?

As I said in my first post I am well aware it is a TN panel. Other reviews of it on cnet and digital versus say it is...
Hey everyone, after waiting a long time I got the Samsung XL2370 for my Christmas present. I have to say compared to the previous tn panels I've owned this display is perfect. 100% uniformity, no backlight bleed at all, vibrant colors and deep blacks, the only real downside is of course the...
ordered my xl2370 will make a nice xmas present I've been using a crt for a year and a half after selling my old lcd that I wasn't very happy with so can't wait.
