nevermind. i found the answer in asus forums.
turns out the asus smartdoctor available for this card is the older version that wont allow voltage core changes. but the version shipped with the 69xx does. simple fix.
Is anyone else having this issue? It won't let me adjust the vcore no matter what I do.
I can move the slider to what ever voltage i want, but then it will set the actual voltage back to the default.
i have the latest drivers installed and asus osd.
any suggestions?
i was able to run FO3 with my 8800gt, my friend gave me his 3850 and it got better win7 scores somehow.
i think i'm going to upgrade my vid card anyway. to either a GTX460 or HD6850, they are real close in price with the 460 being a little cheaper, i think. which one would be the better of the two?

THE PROBLEM; when i try to watch vids on my 60" 1080p it stutters, also on my 40" 1080p. not all files, mind you, just the high quality ones.
i also run ps3mediaserver and that fails constantly as well.
