Yea sure

Is he pretending UT3 is AAA or they are now making AAA games?

Read again, I said things I don't like with steam. I didn't said : "I don't like steam because of..."
"And yes you can just download your games as many times as you want."
I didn't said the opposite, I said, in a long term view, is valve going to surprise us?
Ho and last thing, what happen if...
Because the current laws do not prevent drivers to respect the speed limit, we will let the police use radar. Now because the radar does not work too, we will install a bot connected to a satellite that prevent speeding for good. I accept the first one, it is correct, but the second one is...
The problem is how they can sell the games the same price when they don't have to make cd,box and manual? I don't think the server cost can match the price of box, manual, cds.
Things I don't like with steam:
1- It start at windowsstartup without asking if we want this or not in the installation...
Both are very good. 2142 is better than Special force.
The gameplay is different in 2142. There is a demo for both, so try it and judge yourself.
2142 is more a new game than just a mod like for vietnam and bf1.
I'm not sure which gameplay is better. It's like choosing between ut and quake...
I don't remember singing a contract when I bought a game dvd. So legally speaking, they sold me a dvd and everything in it. I don't recall an accept button is worth a signature either. Now this is my opinion, I know that by some laws(made by those who sell the stuff) probably say you are right...
Maybe no games with revolutionary graphic. But with the amount of demos released this week, I think a lot of good games are coming for 2008. I'm very impress about the work of small studios. Imperium Romanum demo is impressive, but I'll wait for review before buying it. The demo had some glitch...
You see, it's what I said, you're the only one here doing it.
Nobody is saying they are cutting off the franchise, I'm saying they are working a new civilization that is going to be released for console before pc. I'm also saying they do not appear to work on a civ5 yet.
Thanks for your prediction. This is not changing the fact that the question has been asked and he said "ask me again later this year"
He said pc is good because : "And it continues to get better and better with new graphics cards and so on."
Ummm...
I think you are the only here that piss and moan.
He said the new civ is "all the best parts of Civilization."
He's not saying the game is going to be release for pc but he is not saying the opposite either. He said highly portable, I'm not sure how pc cannot be a client of this portability...
Portable as to be ported from 360/PS3 to DS but not for pc?
He didn't say they was making civ5 in the interview. He said : "ask me the question again later this year"
Next but not 5 maybe?
Like the next bf...
After the ut series, Civilization is going to console now
I hope the pc version won't be just a console port. And I doubt it won't be.
Nice paradox. DS has "power to rival a pc" :confused...
The high refresh rate of CRT was not to remove flickering?
How can a LCD has flickering?
Flickering was causing headache in my case. My lcd was also hard for eyes at the beginning but now I use the text inbuild setup and everything is fine now. When I play games or movies, I switch to the max...
Ok than I agree with you. Re-installing a Microsoft OS will for sure give a performance boost in the case you got infected by viruses or any bugged software. And I think it is inevitable to be infected even if you are an advanced user. Even if it's not a malware, I think a lot of software can...
It is probably better to re-install an os like it would be better to re-install a new motor in your car two times a year. And according to your logic, it is also better to re-install vista two times a year or so. The argument was : XP need more reinstall than vista and vista is more stable...
This is well knonw, we all said it over the danm place that firefox spellcheck isn't accurate.
It look like they are too busy spending the fortune they made with firefox than fixing the major problem.
I don't notice any lagging on my LCD. I have a lg196w. When the first LCD came out, I was noticing some sort of blur in some occasion. On the new large lcd display(for tv) I saw goshting while watching hockey. It's not in all situation, it's hard to describe when it happens.
The major problem...
Switching from 2000 to XP was not really interesting. I did because some software was not working for 2000 and some drivers problem. When I switched to XP, it took me a while to like the new look(the only thing that changed) and I finally preferred it over the old classic one.
Switching from...
So I must have understand what you just explained before you explained it no?
The reason why I'm giving an explanation is to show some people is calling bf3. This is what also meant in my first post of the thread: "aka bf3?"
But wait a second, I was visiting their official website and look what I have found out:
http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/screenshots/games-for-windows-cover-announcement
It clearly say : "THE NEXT BATTLEFIELD"
2 is next to 1, and 3 is next to 2.
So they even say on the official website...
