I recently got a VGA cable and a Dreamcast, but when I hook it up to my 40 inch Sony, all I get is a small 640x480 square and I don't get any audio either. How can I switch it to TV instead of PC mode, and why aren't I getting audio? Here's the cable if you're wondering...

I would buy the ASUS N81VP, but its a 14". I just need something that's not too heavy, has a nice screen, and runs cool. Don't need that great of a video card; something like an HD4650 would be fine. Budget is around $1000. Any suggestions?

FYI, I had an old logitech wireless mouse for notebooks (it was really small), and it ate up AA batteries like a pornstar ate cock. Fucking nightmare, and it was a huge bitch having to buy them all the time.
