I'm in college right now and I'm still stuck on my old, shitty Gateway laptop. I need something I can game and work on (15 inches is as high as I will go), but something that doesn't get too hot or too loud (these two factors are the only thing that's preventing me from pulling the trigger on...
I recently got a VGA cable and a Dreamcast, but when I hook it up to my 40 inch Sony, all I get is a small 640x480 square and I don't get any audio either. How can I switch it to TV instead of PC mode, and why aren't I getting audio?
Here's the cable if you're wondering...
I would buy the ASUS N81VP, but its a 14". I just need something that's not too heavy, has a nice screen, and runs cool. Don't need that great of a video card; something like an HD4650 would be fine.
Budget is around $1000. Any suggestions?
It's a Toshiba USB webcam from like 2007... the model number is PX1342E-1CAM. I searched forever but couldn't find any for Windows 7.
Much love and thanks. :)
What's the noise and heat like on a 1340? My current HP laptop is like a fucking radiator with an exhaust, christ.
EDIT: Looks like Dell doesn't sell this anymore. Where can I still buy it?
FYI, I had an old logitech wireless mouse for notebooks (it was really small), and it ate up AA batteries like a pornstar ate cock. Fucking nightmare, and it was a huge bitch having to buy them all the time.
I'm looking strongly at the MX700, but I'm not sure if its rechargeable or not. It comes with a dock, right?
I don't want to spend too much by the way. I'll be using this for a laptop.
Yeah, so I desperately DESPERATELY need a download for a 56k modem. The modem in my desktop is fried, so I have this FUCKING OLD modem from 2004 or some shit that I have to use instead. Right now I'm on my old laptop that doesn't really work for shit.
Anyway, nothing I've found works so far...
I thought my search had ended with the Dell M1330, but I think I need something better than an 8400M GS. Any thoughts? I'm willing to spend $1,000 at most, and I want something that doesn't get too warm and doesn't make a lot of noise.
Thanks.
Wait, what's your fascination with them?
I can understand if you want to frame them all or something (I'm a huge collector and must get everything in a series, so, yeah).
I'm interested in SFF but I'm worried about the acoustics. How are the temps too?
And also, whats the best CPU cooler you can fit in one of them. I don't think a tower cooler can fit, right?
