Maybe these guys have something for a telephone line:

I have one of their units installed in my circuit breaker box at home. Last summer lightning struck a pole near my house and it burned out almost every surge protector power strip in my house and...
Well the Buffalo router and the Linksys router before it both have had problems with suddenly not working and usually need to be switched on and off so the dependability is a concern.
So I'm in charge of setting up a new network and phone system in an old office building that my company is moving into. There are about a dozen employees that will be in this new office building. Our current office is 1800 sq feet and the new one will be much larger at 4800 sq feet.
There...
I'm selling a brand new Corsair HX Series HX-650 power supply. What happened was I had one installed in my computer and one of the 12V power outlets was failing, so I sent it in to Corsair and they sent me a brand new one still in the plastic wrapping. I took off the plastic wrapping because I...
If you go to the zyxel site they also have some rebates:

$10 visa card for this router, making the final cost $19.99 plus one postage stamp
Unless the sub has a built-in crossover, I wouldn't plug the sub directly to a speaker output on the sound card.
Usually there is a way to connect the subwoofer to the soundcard and set it up for 2.1 sound. Look for the documentation.
I have the same mobo and I think dccmadams is right. If I overclock too much and something goes wrong at POST or it doesn't even POST then it will go back to default settings. Maybe the CPU can't hit that high or you need to up the voltages.
I just picked up a Musashi VGA cooler at Microcenter for my new ATI Radeon 4850 video card. The cooler on my 4850 was the loudest thing in my computer even at 6% fan speed. It took me about 15 minutes to install the Musashi cooler. I didn't really have any problems installing it until it came to...
I have the DoubleSight 26 LCD and it's the best LCD monitor I have ever had. It's great for gaming and it's pretty much on par with a CRT. The thing with the CRT (IBM 21-inch) is that even at 85Hz it gives me a headache after a while. I find that the LCD is much easier on the eyes.
Doublesight DS-263N is the biggest IPS (similar to the technology in the Apple Cinema) monitor you will get for under $700.

I was at Microcenter the other day and now they sell a protective film you put on your LCD panel and it makes it glossy, while reducing the chance of damaging the original screen beneath it. I'm not sure how it sticks on but it says it won't damage the original surface. Also it said some stuff...
I have gone through two dual monitor setups and now I'm using a single 26-inch (the DS-263N) and I like it a lot more this way. With my last dual 19-inch LCD setup I found myself using mostly one monitor and the other one would be used for almost nothing. The advantage of the dual monitors came...
Here's a picture of my DS-263N calibrated and playing "The Chronicles of Riddick" in 720P from a Pioneer Elite DV-59AVi DVD-player (with HD upconversion and processing). Pictures don't do it justice, it looks awesome in person.
That's not good, was anything touching that part of the monitor when you took it out of the box? Maybe try running it for a couple hours and see if it goes away.
Well consoles is really where the money is at and it is growing a lot every year. There are also no piracy problems on consoles (that I know of, but I'm not a console owner). The companies are in it to make money so it's business as usual. I would be dissapointed though if ID software starts...
You can buy a USB microphone so you don't need an interface between the microphone and computer. Different microphones are suited for different instruments and applications. Depending on your budget you could spend $20 to hundreds of dollars. Here is a good one...
The display is a TN panel.
2400:1 is definitely dynamic contrast, 800:1 is the real contrast ratio
Manufacturers like to use dynamic contrast to sell their products because people that don't know any better will get the one with the bigger number.
The lag with this monitor is the same as it was with the Samsung 245BW for me, it's pretty much non-existent. Sure a CRT might be better but there's no way I could fit a 26-inch CRT on my desk (if they even make one). I play UT3 and COD4 about an hour a day and I can keep up with the best...
I got my DoubleSight DS-263N in the mail today from newegg. I'm happy to say it is an awesome display. Totally blows away the Samsung 245BW I just had sitting on my desk. Colors are much more accurate, no more dark screen on top or bottom depending on how I sit in correlation to the screen. I...
Good contribution to the thread.
Anyway, I think the dot pitch on a TV LCD will be bigger so you won't get as good of a resolution as you would with a computer monitor. I haven't seen that TV nor can I find any specifics on it but it says the response time is 8ms so I'm guessing...
I have a Samsung 245BW right now and I bought it because I got a good deal on it and I play a lot of FPS games and input lag was an issue for me with MVA/PVA panels. I'm waiting for a DoubleSight 26-inch IPS to come this Thursday and if I keep it then I will sell the Samsung. Before the Samsung...
