Companies that own the titles will want it to be illegal thinking they'll get money. All forms of revenue are good to them.
There could be a couple of arguments and backfires from a layman's pov, though. Fair use comes to mind, as well as the use of pop culture in art.
Also, it could be...
Meh, it took years of optimizations for games on the 360 and ps3 to truly look good. It'll take the same amount of time for games to to hit 1080p at good framerate AND eye-candy on the xbone and ps4.
Either way, I'm still on my PC getting 1600p at over 60fps with maxed eye-candy. But, I also...
Things I like:
Cooling design, t-bolt2 ports. Dual graphics out of the box.
Things I don't like:
No way to add 2nd cpu; The choice of dual graphics (ie, none). The lack of expansion beyond tbolt2.
It's a mixed bag for me. I've been using macpro's for years at work and while this will...
Not too sure why the author is gushing about Arma III here.
I love the game, and make missions, but it's hardly anything to use as a benchmark.
As has been noted here in previous posts, it is in no way optimized. It typically uses around 50% cpu and even less gpu no matter the system...
The case is very simple. And i'm sure it's been said, but i'm not going to read 20 pages of comments... so my 2 pesos:
They are developing for the greatest common denominator the console.
Developing for anything else, like for instance the porting to PC, costs more money.
Supporting...
ROFLMAO...
No, they've got even less room to lay new pipe and run new copper/fiber to the home.
Sorry, but it's just the opposite.
On top of that, there's still tons of dark fiber already in place.
In stock and my PS3 thanks you!
Also, the Seagate of the same spec's is in stock and only 10 bucks more with no rebate, for those that don't like dealing with rebates!
Nothing wrong with that site. I buy my mac stuff from them all the time.
The only problem i ever had was with an out of stock item that took them a week to ship after it came in stock.
They delivered my early2k8 MacPro quickly. Got my rebates too....
So, don't buy from them. Makes sure...
Steam works because of the distributed (like bittorrent) nature of the upload/download.
Also, the PS3/360 can't do a steam like system until they start shipping with much larger hard drives.
PS3 lets you put whatever size drive you can afford in its box. 360 stupidly requires you buy an...
You were partially correct. If you purchase online, the gift card is online only.
If you purchase B&M it's good in the store.
But, you can use the online one to buy a normal GC, so it's a fairly stupid game their playing.
Also, it's a toss up if you get the 80GB MGS4 bundle whether...
Yep, it's condescending. Sata2 will put out a real world sustained 225MB/s per port. To get those speeds, you have to use a port multiplier and sata2 drives in a raid array. Sata1 will not cut it. My benchmarks are not theoretical. They are real world. I have to capture 1080p source from SDI...
Because, a 5 drive raid array on a single sata2 port will nearly saturate the 300MB/sec...
However, you can only have 1 drive per port on sata1, so, yeah, pakistanies will never saturate the bus or see a reason to charge more for tea in order to afford the throughput.
And, since I...
Umm, in single drive, there's no reason to choose one over the other but for the larger cache that's typical to the sata2.
However, if you're working HD and need a raid0 that does more than 250MB/sec sustained through 90% of the available space, then SATA2 is the only one to choose.
Also...
The SE model has a problem with being brighter on one side. The non-SE version was the better of the two.
More likely than not, this guy got his from costco when their first sale started with the non-SE version.
Considering that this will probably be one of the last of the 37" lcd's to hit...
Great AV... uses less resources than anything I've tried and consistently beats everything at detecting viruses, worms, zero day attacks, etc. Makes Norton look like a 400 lb. child trying to play catch up.
I would... OTA HDTV signals are generally far better than dish or cable due to the higher bit rates... oh, and aside from the antenna and a usb HDTV dongle on your computer, it's free!...
but, you're right... why would anyone want to watch hdtv on a monitor:confused:
Great price. Here's a tip for you, though... Installed this on a friend's computer. An agp based, northwood cpu system. Kept getting the 4bit color and 640x480 res. no matter the slot or drivers installed.
Turns out, you have to make sure your AGP aperture is at least 256mb in your bios...
Got my rebate in February... bought and filled out the forms online at roughly 5am on black friday... roughly 3 months is about normal. More than that is unusual for easy rebate :(
This is an ATX 2.x supply, no connection for the -5v... so, if you've got an older mobo, don't bother.
Also, Antec's quality control has been spotty for a while now. Sad, since my TP 420W has been running since forever...
Do your own testing... Firewire beats USB2.0 on both platforms and has since the begining... Firewire just isn't used much on the Windows side since it can sometimes be flakey and is usually relegated to the rear of the majority of PC cases whereas USB ports in nearly all cases can be found up...
Talk about bad luck... Yeah, I'd cancel and never shop there again... Sadly for you, I've never had a problem with Buy.com... I usually get everything I order there within a day or two no matter what shipping method I choose (and it's usually the free one since I'm a cheap bastard). I've even...
Just in case you want the Ultra Aluminus without the PSU...
Ultra Aluminus at Tiger Direct
IMHO, this is a great case wtih the only downside being the ancient design of the face. Well, that and TD's terrible record with rebates... :(
I'd get this case but for two reasons:
1. Just picked up the p180
2. the 3.5" drive cages in a case like this need to be rotated out 90 degrees so you can access the drives without having to unplug everything on your mobo. Removable cages are nice, but being able to easily get at the...
