Hi, I have to admit I did not do much research so please be gentle with me. I want colour reproductions as good, if not better than the 226bw "S" and lag times as low as the 226bw.

From my limited research, the 2493HM and G2400W seems to be good. The V2400W has a yellow tinge if I'm not wrong. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks! :D

PS- pardon me for any contradictory info, spelling and grammar. It's late at night.

G2400WD or V2400W should be no difference since they use the same panel.
it all depends on the look preference. Both you can get it from BenQ using 10% promo code
thankyou10. They are running a dual screen promo that if you buy 2 displays you get extra 5% off.

I just bought a Hanns·G HG-281DPB Black 28" 3ms Widescreen LCD HDMI Monitor from Costco for $399.95. The native resolution is 1900x1200. I like it a lot. Some have posted complaints about the blacks not being dark enough but it doesn't bother me since LCD monitors don't do true black anyway.

Samsung 2493HM or T240 are both good screens for PC only, and the BenQ's better for PC + HDMI based console, though also good for PC only use.

If you can find the G2400W it's still the fastest screen in terms of input lag (and also still good for PC+console), but the 2493HM, V2400W/G2400WD all are very good too. G2400W=3ms average, others between 7 and 9 ms average, so all are very fast.

Ah I see. I must have a look for myself before I judge. For all you know, we are on the same boat!

That's valuable information! I may end up getting the Hanns·G HG-281DPB or G2400W. :D
