hard drives that have both only use one. Legacy power is not required.

thats what I was getting at if in the slot it had connectors for both and it would connect both at the same time, it was just a first thought of what could go wrong but i assume it only has sata power in there

Hmm, barring hard drives that have dual power connections, that's a pretty cool product. For use with both 2.5" and 3.5" drives and considering that the average price for a 3.5" or 2.5: enclosure is $20 each, the price isn't half bad. Though the shipping does kill it though...
