I've got one of these except in 4GB and without the camera. Better than the one OP linked (4x the memory) for the same price.

That one looks nice, but the clincher for the OP''s linked player is that it's got WinCE. Maybe not the most powerful platform, certainly lacking for memory, but it could be a fun gadget.

I also note that once the sale on the OP's linked player is over, the price will go up by ~$20 but, according to the website, will include a choice of two free accessories, including an FM transmitter and a USB battery extender.

well the player not being a phone isn't really a con, seeing its not meant to be and considering the iPhone is like $400 and this is $100, its not the same. It can play divx, users on their forum show it playing divx files at 25fps and the manual on the forum shows the device capable of handling nes games.
