32gb kit showing up as 28gb

The kit I have is F3-12800CL10Q-32GBZL and the board I have is the P9X79 Deluxe cpu 4930k with the latest bios. I did reset the cmos and the freq was reset to 1333 and timings to auto witch showed as 9-9-9-24. At this setting the bad ram shows up as 8gb in any ram slot. But if I change the freq to 1600, that stick shows as 4gb in the bios but the other sticks still show 8gb individually in the bios in any ram slot. With the bios at 9-9-9-24 and freq. at 1600, I placed the other individual sticks in four diff. slots and they showed as 8gb. But the iffy stick, showed as 4gb in 4 diff slots. The only way to get this ram to show as 8gb was to change the timings to 10-10-10-30 in all 4 slots with freq at 1600. I did not have to do this with any of the other 3 sticks. Just that one. I ram memtest with all 4 sticks installed together with the timing at 10-10-10-30 and freq at 1600 for 13 hours without error. I then ran memtest on the iffy stick with timing at 10-10-10-30 and freq at 1600 for 2 passes(about 8 hours) without error.
Any ideas?
