478 heatpipe cooler

This scythe seems to be the best price on a heatpipe cooler and it says it supports a 478 socket.

I'm just unsure of how it'll do mounted in a tower, doenst look all that secure.

That's subjective... they are pretty nice, but I haven't heard very much about them. That Scythe just came out, so we're still awaiting reviews. It kinda looks like the Vapochill Micro.

Not so much, I've sold dozens of them @ Fry's and I've never had a single return/complaint on them, infact I've had alot of compliments on it not to mention you can actually read the reviews.

It mounts with brackets of some kind, you don't have to remove the currently exsisting mounting brackets. It's 20dBa or up, depending on the speed you choose.
