600-800watt? or more?

good quality power supply , that can run SLI, like 2x 9600gt .. but also 2x 9800x2 for instance..

thats the major concern, because if it can handle those, it can handle the other components .. a dvd burner, 2 to 4 hdd's , cpu, mobo bladi bladi blah

what would you suggest?

i been looking to corsair an pc&c...

2x 9600GT, a quality 600W should be sufficient I think.

2x 9800X2's, a quality 800W or maybe higher. But I would have to double check reviews and data they have recorded.

Those are two completely different scenarios at two completely different price points. If I was getting an 800ishW PSU, that BFG ES-800 looked mighty fine.
