6800 GT problem?

I have a PNY 6800 GT, it worked on two AGP systems I have around, but failed to work on two of my friends' systems. Basically nothing would show on screen, while other AGP cards would work. Both say the fans spin up fine.

Haven't gone over personally to try to help, but this is kinda weird. Hoping they didn't fry it .

Anyone ever seen video cards that seem to only want to work on specific machines?

Might be and older AGP spec motherboard that he has which could be a reason it won't work.

Sounds like a bad card or power cable not connected to card.
