xXxDieselxXx said:Excellent I was looking for someone who previously owned an X800XT PE.
I ordered a 7800GT, which should arrive in few days and I was wondering if I will see any difference on IQ/Performance coming from the X800XT PE.
Could you please describe a little bit what difference do you see? It has been long since I owned my last Nvidia card (GForce 3) after that I was on the Radeon side but this year I had the chance to migrate to PCI-E and was convinced the 7800GT was the best bang for the money hands down.
Z(+)DIAC said:Actually it seems the "low-end" card of Nvidia's current line will be the 7800gs.
Jrmicon said:Correct, but AFAIK the GS is not out yet in the 7800 form just the 6800
ThisMonsterLives said:After using GeForce cards for years...2's through 4's I ran ATI for 3 years. 9700 Pro through X800XT PE.
I must say that finally Nvidia has the image quality down. Their AA is good even at 2x as ATI's has been for years. A 7800 GT is certainly an upgrade over the X800 cards.
Keep in mind my card is a CO clocked at 470/1200.
