A8N32 Hibernate problem

Hey everyone.

I had hibernate working on my A8N32...

But it disappeared. One of the few things I did that may have caused this, was to upgrade to BIOS 1009. I did do other things to my system, but they were basically SW installs, and nothing that should impact ACPI.

So has anyone seen this? Problems with Hibernate with this MB? I'm running XP 64 Bit...

word is that the 1009 bios is NOT ACPI compliant.

i'm wondering about this aswll since i am in theory, about to purchase a A8N32.

Thanks... I know about that problem - others on Asus' community forum are having the same problem. But no one so far that I have seen, have commented that they lost hibernate after upgrading the bios.

So I'm really not sure if the new bios is what caused my problem. I'm hoping it is, as Asus has to have heard about the BIOS ACPI problem that everyone is having... and will correct it soon.
