AMD and Apple?

Just found this interesting article/rumor over at Ars Techinica. Would be nice to see AMD expand into more markets. Their Fusion seems like the perfect chip for Apple's need.

Yeah, saw that as well. That would a be a good move on AMD's part.

If we could see AMD break into Apple based systems, that would be awesome considering how Apple systems are generally not aimed at the budget market, which is where AMD competes these days. By budget market, I mean people who are simply just looking for the cheapest thing possible as Apple buyers generally have some expectation of quality. It would be good PR for AMD who desperately needs it if it is going to have a chance at chiseling away Intel's dominance when Bulldozer comes out.
