ANY POSSIBLE TWEAKS to make text look good over S-Video?

It's not really unreadable at 680x460, but if I could get it to 800x600, I would find more of a reason to leave it here.
 
I use mythtv on an FX 5200 w/ svideo out on a 25" RCA TV. Using the nvidia-settings tool that ships with the linux drivers, I managed to get all the scanlines to match up, and I got a remarkably clear picture. The biggest problem is the lack of geometry controls to make everything straight again.

My biggest suggestion is moving to 720x480 for your resolution, and jiggling with the oversan.
 
Well there are ways to improve svideo's quality but none to make it readable other then "by an EDTV at the least."
 
try clear type.......from ......................DA... *almighty* um.........*Microsoft*......hiccups...sry
