I have a compaq sff pc and the psu seems to be dead, now the problem is that the psu has a wierd 14pin atx connector. It looks like a regular atx connector but missing 6 pins.
I can fit a 20pin connector to the mobo, kinda like you can fit a 24pin connector to a 20pin on the mobo, but i dont have the courage to power it up. The color coded wires are in different locations on the sff psu, i figure if i use my 20pin psu my house will burn down.

Is anyone familiar with this type of psu? Or am i doomed to get a spare one for 150 bucks from compaq

Is it actually 14 pins or 14 wires? Because I know WTX didn't use all of the pins, but the connector was actually a 22-pin ATX looking connector.

EDIT: Never mind. Just Googled it and it is a 14-pin connector.
