ATi 6950 + nVidia 8800 GTX for Physx - will it work?

Was thinking about this, then googled, and I cant find anything past 2010 on getting them to work together since nvidia lifted the 'ban' on disabling physx when you tried to use the 2 together.

I have an 8800GTX that I'm not doing anything with and thought I'd give it a shot.

Question is, is it still possible?
