ATI and Displayport?

Do the 57xx and 58xx cards use Displayport 1.2? I can't seem to find any information on the web.

With the expected release of 120hz high-res monitors in 2010/11, one would hope these new (and expensive) cards had the bandwidth to power them. Displayport 1.1 will NOT run 2560@120hz.

Do not know the answer, but I just shot off an email to AMD to find out.

The word is they support v1.1 because v1.2 is still being ratified.

That's a shame, but if it's still being ratified I guess there was no way to include it. Thanks for clarifying this with AMD.

You'll still be able to run 1920x1200 @ 120 though I believe. So better than not having Displayport
