Audigy 1 Drivers Needed

I searched for them, but could not find a specific thread concerning the matter of installing an Audigy 1 without the installation cd on XP.

The creative drivers on their website require that you have the original CD drivers before you can upgrade, which is crap.

Help anyone?

Fuck creative's drivers. www.kxproject.com, get their stuff. It's great and you can do a ton with them.

I've heard somewhere that a ctzap.exe that is found in one of Creative's zip files supposedly works around this. Never confirmed, though.

go to fileplanet, search for audigy.

download the package with the most recent date...it's a beta driver but it's rock solid.

unload this using winrar

search the folders for ctzap.exe

run ctzap for the win.

If it was me I would just use the Hacked Audigy 2ZS drivers.

huh...I got an audigy 1 and I used the current creative update software and it works...but the sound from the cockpit view of Collin McCrea Rally 2K5 is affected.
