I use a 720P projector, max resolution is 1280x720

the low resolution has helped keep my 8800gt serving me for an extended time, but with BF3 and Skyrim i think i need a boost.

What card is going to let me turn everything to max, but still give me the best bang for the buck? under $300 closer to $200 would be best. Would rather not SLI/CF

other system specs
Q6600
4GB DDR1066
Intel 320 120GB SSD

Those tests were at 1280*1024, so multiply the number by 1.42 to get an approximated idea of performance at 720p

The ingame 4xMSAA asks a heavy toll from AMD as you can see from the numbers, so for the specific case of BF3 ultra at 720p do go with a 560ti. The card will be way overkill for pretty much any other game at that res, which is actually a good thing since it means that it will last you a while.

There you can see the difference between high (no aa) and ultra (4xmsaa) on AMD and Nvidia.

You don't need to run MSAA and honestly I find the game to be more eye pleasing when it's turned off. I don't like the soft image that MSAA gives BF3.
