Hi,
I like to use hdd racks so I can easily swap out hdd's to run different OS's, etc. I currnetly have a 250gb seagate HDD which runs perfectly fine when installed inside the case and connected directly to an 80-wire IDE cable. When I put it in a Laser ATA-133 Mobile HDD rack I get BSOD every time it boots. I get different messages at different stages of the boot process. Other hdd's run fine in the hdd rack (120gb, 80gb, etc) I am at work now and dont have the model numbers of the hardware involved.

I am using Windows XP SP2 with all updates installed. All hardware drivers are up to date. Does anyone have any idea on what I can do to resolve the issue with having to buy new hardware?? Many thanks...

Sounds like the rack is causing the problem. There probably isn't a way around this.
