choices on possible configuration

So i am in the market for new lcds or a lcd, I have an opportunity for a great deal, but I am torn due to different wants and desires. Basically to explain it in better detail, I can get a Dell u2711 for a great price, brand new through a friend of mine, but at the same time he is offering a dell 3007 for the same price. There is no denying they are both great monitors, but what should I do? I do lot of rendering and architecture work, let alone graphic design, photography and so on. So naturally a bigger screen is an excellent upgrade, however I can also get 3 NEC EA23wmi-bk's for the same price point as the two monitors above. I love the idea of 3 monitors surrounded by each other, but do I really benefit from it, help me pick.

Break down:

Dell u2711- Pros-newer, same price as dell 3007
Cons- not a 30" monitor and slightly lower resolution of 2560x1440p

Dell 3007wfp- Pros- a 30" monitor,2560x1600 resolution
Cons- older model than all monitors

3x Nec EA23wmi-bk- Pros- 5760 x 1080p resolution!
Cons- additional graphics card purchase, not a 27' or 30' monitor
