"Corsair says the Obsidian Series 700D trades its big brother's hot-swap Serial ATA hard drive bays for a set of fixed, internal bays, all the while replacing the side window with a solid side panel. And that's about it; other features are supposed to be the same."

Also note from pictures that the fan placement for hard drive bays is different (and I think better as well).

Damned, it's still the same ginormous size. How about a 600D in a mid-tower size??? Please???

An entirely new model number just for a few changes? Why not something like 800E or something of the sort? I was hoping for a smaller version as well.

I actually prefer the completely different model name.

Makes it way more obvious.

They said originally if these sold well they would continue their pursuit of making cases. I think the 700D was planned from the beginning... but they wanted to put the biggest/best out first.
