Im still in the market for a sound card and if this is what I need i want to buy. but I need to know what all the remote can be used for, otherwise the $85 card is plenty if the remote only changes volume or only works with certain sotware.

Also someone writing the review said the dd for 5.1 does not work on this card? Are they serious? do I have to have 7.1 if so that is pretty lame.

WTF I refreshed the screen and the price jumped up to 95, I was just about to order now I'm thinking newegg can kiss my you know what. I don't like to play games.
