Deleting words from the autocorrect dictionary

I've NEVER, in my entire life, meant to type "ducking" in a text messsage. Is there a way to delete this word?
 
You can't delete it but you can add words to prevent those stupid suggestions.

Settings>General>Keyboard>shortcuts

Add whatever words you commonly use that spellcheck wants to correct
 
As dr.stevil suggested or if you have added words to the dictionary, you can reset them by going to Settings > General > Reset > Keyboard Dictionary.

I recommend this. Starting from fresh then adding words.
 
You can't delete, save or import custom dictionaries on the iphone? Amazing.

I am pretty sure we have had that option on most android phones for a few years. And thats honestly a real comment, not meant to troll. I did know this was not an option! They really keep things simple on the iphone.
