I paid 900 shipped a coupla weeks ago. This deal is sick - $830 shipped w/ NC tax. I'm thinking of getting another one just to dollar-cost-average down a bit. ;-)

Sadly I can't apply my coupon for 2% DPA discount. That would probably push me over the edge. =-]

Dell's site is fubar..really. Refresh the page and the price will bounce between the 2 values. Strange stuff indeed. :rolleyes:

"Hey ... I was on the website and notice the price at $779.95, but then when I went to check out, it said $959.20. Can you help me close this deal?"

... Odds are, they may let you do it. About the same thing happened to me last year when I wanted to jump on the BFG Nvidia 6800 ultra for $400+ and change they mistakenly listed after a 35% off coupon. Earlier that day it took (while I was at work) but when I got home to actually do it, It no longer worked and the card was removed from the website. So I called them, nicely explained the situation, and after talking to her "manager" she gave it to me. This may work for this monitor too.

Website still showing $779.95 here, add it to the cart and becomes $959.20. Called em up and they said anything under "Dell Outlet - Home" was refirbished.

Their site is/was fubared, half the tabs off that link were showing the $700 price, others the $900... I expect they dropped the price briefly, then jacked it back up and it just took all the servers in the webfarm a while to update or something.
 
Yes, I really did get one. I've already got my 2 emails from Dell confirming the order and the price. The funny thing is I was contemplating ordering one for 803 earlier today but I just checked the forums to see if maybe any more deals had surfaced and here was this thread. It came to $828 after tax and free ship. Thank you to the thread starter!

I ordered the monitor for the 803.00 plus shipping deal last week so It was around $840.00 with tax. As I read more reviews about it making noise and the issues it has, I decided I would wait. So I emailed Dell customer support and requested to cancel the order. She cancelled the order then went on to offer me a 100.00 off coupon to use on my next order. Then I couldnt resist ordering the monitor up again with this 100.00 coupon using my no interest until 2007 Dell Preferred account!!! Heres a copy and paste of how it broke down. This price is not even including my Fat Cash check I will be getting either.

Okay first a question. I have the DPA. How do I get the 2% off. Is there a code or does it just take it off when you use DPA?
