EVGA GTX 460 1G Sli vs Evga GTX 480

I need some help here in deciding I wanna do an upgrade on my gpu since its been long time coming. SO my choices are these, either two gtx 460's sli the with external exhaust or choose one evga 480 gtx superclocked with high flow backplate. The only advantage of getting two gtx 460 sli's is if in the future i choose to upgrade i can get two 480's for the price of one after all evga setup is amazing. Help me out here

Ya i have and looked but reviews can only get you so far I want some opinions from people its helps me alot.

Run the SLI 460's until the 480 MSRP drops and you pay even less

480 needs a Minovsky ultracompact fusion reactor too power it... 460 SLi good 650watt would do the job. I suggest again that Evga model many users are not happy with the noise level.

Tri-monitoring or high resolutions will share the 1GB on the 460's. Depending on what res. you are running, the GTX 480 may better serve you.

If you are programming CUDA apps, the GTX 480 be my recommendation.

1920x1200 and the 460's in sli should run just fine for you.

I believe even @ 2560x1600 the GTX460 1GB SLI will outperform the GTX480
