Don't let experiments like this scare you, I'm sure that wireless router sitting two feet away from you isn't causing you any harm.

The girls placed six trays of Lepidium sativum seeds (a garden cress grown commercially throughout Europe) in a room without radiation, and an equal amount in a room next to two Wi-Fi routers. Over a 12-day period, they observed, measured, weighed and photographed the results. Even before the 12th day arrived, however, the end results were obvious: The cress seeds placed near the routers either hadn't grown or were completely dead, while the seeds placed in the radiation-free room had blossomed into healthy plants.

shit

mines less than 2 feet away from me!!

:/ maybe time to movie it to the end of the desk lol,

You know, I have more property than I need and am tired of mowing the grass each week. This might be useful. Maybe keeps my kids from becoming teenagers too?

LOL, my wifi router is overclocked and sitting about a foot from me in a closet I sometimes lean against :p

Peer review? Sample size? Attempts to remove any other variables to the equation? BS?

My friend told me about experiments like this. Since then, I have stopped constantly having cellphone in my pocket. I use speaker phone or earplug as much as possible to talk. I moved the router out of bedroom and into a corner of the house. It might sound anal but it's my health. Nobody else but me can take care of my own body.

I think they're gonna need more data than what six seeds will show.

If I stuck in a wifi booster, would that keep the weeds from growing in the empty lot I fly my RC models in? It's a pain cleaning up the thorns out of my pants... literally.

"The experiment began when the five students realized that they had difficulty concentrating in school if they slept near their mobile phones the previous night."

Definitely wouldn't be the lights or noises coming from the phones.

Peer review? Sample size? Attempts to remove any other variables to the equation? BS?
It was 9th graders doing an experiment, doubt there's much peer review at that level ;)

But yeah there can easily be a lot of variables that can do this, considering they came to their conclusions after 12 days, anything from planting the seeds an extra half inch too deep to the heat from the routers drying out the soil quicker than the sample group.

I wouldn't look too much into it, however it would be easy enough to replicate and perhaps control the conditions yourself. Hell I feel like putting a plant on top of my router :D

Other stories from naturalnews.com include GMO labeling, fluoridating water, the stickers they put on fruit and vegetables, Obamacare, vaccination. There isn't even a link to the experiment in question.

RESONANCE ~ Beings Of Frequency Documentary
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6n-fIHGia8

A real eyeopener not conspiracy theories everybody in the documentary are PhDs with papers published repeated numerous times in last decade on how melatonin production stops in pituitary gland due to Electromagnetic radiation.

Background:
From what I have read & seen in this documentary the pituitary gland only produces melatonin a hormone & also a antioxidant when it does not sense light meaning @ night. The issue is light is part of the electromagnetic spectrum which is visible & microwave is part of the spectrum that is invisible & our pituitary gland sense also sense it & stops production or reduces it in its presences. These doctors have been saying for years in Europe & UK that people who live by towers & have cancer cluster are all really low in melatonin there was a whole bunch of other stuff in the documentary that I forgot the sickest stuff was about schumann resonance 7.83hz that earth generates & our brain has synced to it. I need to watch it again. Check it out, well worth your time!

Fact: Every study on the internet is true. Especially ones done by freshwomen in high school. ;)

Peer review? Sample size? Attempts to remove any other variables to the equation? BS?

Yeah, there's really not a lot to this "study". Though I could totally believe if it were true, I would love to see a proper study done of it. One of the links in that article leads to a site which has a lot of other studies of wifi affecting biological critters, so I could believe it might affect plant growth too. I haven't gone through all of these studies, but the ones I've looked at are from peer reviewed journals.

These are always so stupid. Some crappy experiment "discovers" some massive effect that has gone completely unobserved despite our entire modern society being built upon it's close study. Not that they messed up the experiment in some way.

Next up, third grader shocks the world by discovering that 5+12 is 20, not 17 like we had been thinking all along.

I think they're gonna need more data than what six seeds will show.

Seriously. I'm sorry but an experiment conducted by 6 school children does not equal a conclusive result.

There many outside factors that could have influenced such a result.

Its amazing what people accept blindly with a one time result. True research takes many confirmations and years of work.

Everyone just keep on using your routers worry free for the time being.

In reality humanity went extinct shortly after Wi-Fi was implemented , we are just to stupid as a race to realize it.

LOL, my wifi router is overclocked and sitting about a foot from me in a closet I sometimes lean against :p

mine is overclocked to transmit in the gamma ray band. it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, literally.

Probably 2 11 year old routers with no sheilding :p And who has 2 routers in the same room?

Router - check, wireless charger - check, call phone - check, myriad other em sources - check:

In a few generations we will be immune to these things...because those who are not will die and/or fail to procreate. That's progress.

I think they're gonna need more data than what six seeds will show.

6 TRAYS of seeds. Depends how big the trays were but each tray could hold anywhere between 6 to 28 spaces, and if they're flowers they very easily could put more than one seed per space.

Again this is 9th graders, I doubt there's a complete write up of what they did to be posted online for all to see.

Where, exactly, did they find this "room without radiation"? I'm pretty darn sure that a couple of teenagers do not have access to any such room. If such a room even exists.

Routers generate heat and affect the moisture in the air in the vicinity. This experiment obviously wasn't run by anyone credible.

Faraday cage?

Whenever the microwave is on at work all wireless connectivity stops until the microwave is does. So, I counter your radiation with radiation.

Kyle, all I want for Christmas is 1 minute after posting to edit all my errors. Double checking just isn't good enough. I need my hand held. Thank you.

Yeah!
I'm hiding routers under all the toddlers' beds so I can have my very own oompa loompas!
Best info ever!

not conspiracy theories

I'll give you a clue, if a description of something claims specifically not to be a conspiracy theory. IT'S DEFINITELY A CONSPIRACY THEORY. If they had any solid evidence Wi-Fi would be and illegal as those tiny magnetic balls that a few under-supervised children ate and became ill from.

If they had any solid evidence Wi-Fi would be and illegal as those tiny magnetic balls that a few under-supervised children ate and became ill from.

You have a lot of faith. I guess since we've ever had widespread implementation of something that turned out to be dangerous or bad for your health before. :p

That was a particularly disturbing read. Good to be aware, though.

I've been avoiding cell phone and wifi radiation ever since the first studies started to come out. Everyone thought it was bogus and all that. Now its unanimous that all this electromagnetic radiation is causing some damage. Glad i reduced my exposure early on. Just use wired as much as you can and don't leave the cell phone on your body on while your out. Look at all the people that died like Steve Jobs and the rest. They got cancer in areas of the body where cell phone was attached or around. I know relatives that have died from cell phone use. Belt holder for cell phone around the waist, they got pancreatic cancer and skin cancer around the same area. This was two people. I know a boss at my work got brain tumors multiple times in the same area while using the cell phone excessively. Nothing is a coincidence. I remember one time the cell phone radiation zapped me when it received a signal one time. Lost my sense of stability for a sec. That was a wireless transmission. The phone was on the table. Just gotta watch out.
