Firewall with QoS

I need a software fire wall thats is free or cheap, preferably linux. I wanted to use smoothwall but only the corprate has a QoS module and Im not paying for it. So are there any others?

IPCop is their competitor...not sure of the QoS functionality but its worth a looksee.

otherwise, how proficient are you with linux or *bsd? you can find some add on packages forlinux to do it, and on *bsd, look into PF and ALTQ
