Up for sale is a computer my mom bought me for christmas that I really dont have a use for. I told her that I was going to upgrade my desktop or get a lesser laptop, but I guess she got confused and got me a lesser desktop as a surprise. This thing is BRAND NEW IN THE BOXES AND IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY!!! Oh well, here are the specs:
Intel Celeron D 336 (2.8 GHz);
256MB Memory (1x256MB);
Microsoft Windows XP Home w/SP2 ;
40GB 7200 rpm SATA Hard Drive;
48x CD-ROM Drive;
Integrated 7.1 Capable Sound w/ Front Audio ports;
Integrated Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 900;
2 USB 2.0, 1 Firewire ports + WinDVD Creator;
HP Keyboard, HP Scroller Mouse;
Microsoft Works 8.0/Money 2005/MSN Encarta Plus
HP Deskjet 3747 printer
All sealed in a box. FULL WARRANTY. Printer in its own box.
This would be nice for a starter computer if you just add a monitor. Expansion would be very easy, you could add a DVD Burner, an additional 512mb of ram, and a 250gb hard drive for $200 ish if you find some deals. Maybe a good start for a HTPC?
I'm also throwing in a partially working Rio Karma 20gb mp3 player. It sometimes locks up so there are no guarentees on this player. Battery still holds a strong charge though. Will come with charger base station and all the cables I can find for it.
I'm gonna ask $320 for the whole shebang shipped. Accepting trades, just tell me what you have.
