I am looking to sell one brand new, in a factory sealed carton Infocus X1 DLP Projector. I originally purchased this new projector from Circuit City for a planned home theater but never got around to installing it. My loss is your gain.

UPDATE 11/04/2006: The projector was purchased by me from Circuit City on 10/25/04. A "CSP Cityadvantage Protection Plan for Computer Products" (Extended Warranty from Circuit City) was purchased at the same time at an additional cost to me of $149.99. The coverage, which is transferrable to the new owner, protects the projector beginning 11/04/04 and expires on 11/04/08. A copy of the original receipt and the warranty papers will be included with your purchase. Since it is brand new and has never been removed from its package, it has also never been registered with Infocus.

The X1 is known for its superb picture which is due in part to the professional quality Faroujda video processor. The system flawlessly switches between the native 4:3 mode of standard TV and the 16:9 theater modes of a widescreen format DVD or HDTV signal. Weighing in at less than seven pounds and featuring simple color-coded connections, the InFocus X1 Projector was designed for easy portability. Compatible with both PC and Macintosh systems, the newly designed interface insures that your presentations and videos flow smoothly, while the powerful 1,000+ ANSI lumens of brightness will have your images lighting up small to mid-size conference centers and home theaters. Simple, versatile connectivity. The X1 can be permanently mounted on a ceiling, and features a Kensington-style lock for security. A powerful 2.5-watt speaker is built in, along with an audio jack for additional stereo possibilities. The X1 is easy to connect, use, and maintain. It is compatible with a wide variety of computers and video devices, including:
Most standard VCRs, DVD players (progressive and interlaced), HDTV sources (1080i, 1035i, and 720P HDTV formats), TV and satellite tuners, camcorders, video games, and laser disc players.
IBM-compatible computers, including laptops, up to 1024x768 resolution.
Apple Macintosh and PowerBook computers up to 1024x768 resolution. The projector has native SVGA 800x600 resolution.
