So
Did someone test the new FUSION BLOCK SYSTEM from ASUS from their 790i boards?
I mean, connecting it to a proper water cooling kit, and see how it works, I heard someone say it leaks and so on
Can some one please give his point of view?

Thank you!

I can't say anything about the Fusion block on the 790i boards specifically, but I have an Asus Blitz Formula (P35) with a Fusion block. It works fine. Using Tygon tubing and the included hose clamps I haven't had any leaking at all. According to Everest my northbridge is at right around 35°C all the time. (Q6600 idling at 28°C and 8800GTX idling at 42°C at the moment.)

My only complaint is the built-in hose barbs. It would be much improved, I think, if the block had G1/4" threads in it to accept whatever fitting suits your fancy. My system uses 3/8" tubing, so the 3/8"-sized barbs aren't a problem, but anyone with 1/2" or 1/4" tubing will find it much less convenient.
