I just notice that my hd 3870 (with AC accelero ) is idleing at 60 degrees celcius. This just started happening. should i reseat the HS or...

hd3870 idling at 60c !!??

Is the fan profile set up correctly? I know the default on my X2 is pretty stupid, it would idle around 60 and only kick in around 85-90. Use something like RivaTuner to set the fan manually. The default fan on mine set at 40% keeps me at 45 idle and 65 load.

There is no fan, its cooled by an arctic cooling accelero S1.

No problem.
My temps before the accelero were idling around 50c. This is just a recent occurance, maybe two days ago is when it started. With the accelero, temps dropped to around 45c idle, but now its up to 60

Ok, its fixed. I reseated the heatsink, and added a fan onto it for good measure. Now i idle at 45c with a decent overclock.
