I am looking to possibly create a server for storing music/pictures/videos for my house as well as possibly allowing access to friends via the internet. I would more than likely be running Ubuntu Server Edition, and would have to teach myself how to setup such a system being that I have never done so before. For starters here is some hardware I am thinking of using for this setup. Any comments? I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible.

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811154084
Mobo and Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121342
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231119
HDD (will be adding more as storage is needed):http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136150

I think that maybe I should ditch the case for at least a little bit bigger of one so I can add more HDD's as needed. Any suggestions?

The PSU that comes with that case is a total POS. Wouldn't trust it with any kind of system, low power or not.

I recommend going with this case/PSU combo:
Antec NSK4480 ATX Case with Antec Earthwatts 380W PSU - $80

Other than that, looks good to me. Though do note that the motherboard only has two SATA ports and one PCI slot which does limit your upgrade options a bit.
