How does a 7900gt run at 1600*1200?

How many frames do you get playing games like BF2, HL2, and Fear using a 7900 gt on a resolution of 1600*1200? Is there lag at all? Can you play on all high settings? I looked at reviews of the video card but I want more input on the card. Thanks!

It eats them up. I had BF2 cranked at that res when I had my crt. Didn't play a lot of FEAR but it ran very well. Half Life 2 will be smooth as silk with everything maxed.

I'd get 50ish fps in BF2. At least that with HL2 as well.

i have my 7900gt oc'ed to 615/800 and i only get around 30fps(if that) on max settings at 1600x1200. I would def suggest something better.

My 7900GS has NO problems at 1680x1050.I run HL2 maxed out and still get 100 fps, and mostly 50-100fps in BF2. It also runs FEAR nicely at medium settings at that res. The poster above me must have a dying 7900 card You should be happy you have a 7900GT.

My 7900GT suffered a bit at 1680x1050 with CoD2.....and then at 1920x1200, it flat out got bitch slapped like a back talking crack ho.

The 8800GTS handles that res quite nicely. I was most impressed, and only wish I had a GTX

CoD2 is a hog though, games shouldnt be that taxing
