How's this 32" for console and pc gaming?

Is this ok for console and pc gaming? Specs look alright? It's the Sceptre X32BV-FULLHD
 
Well ok then. I was looking at the Toshiba Regza 32RV530U. Is it good for gaming for console and pc?
 
Friend of mine bought a 32" Toshiba Regza (not sure on exact model) and it has some of the worst black levels ive seen on an LCD. Dark scenes look awful, I tried to adjust it to no avail.
 
get something that's 1080p or you'll have a hard time looking at your screen, sitting that close to it.
