Ive been hanging to watercool my new AMD/Quadro system, ive been runnning it as a stock air cooled setup in a "CoFF CoFF" TT shark case
Finally brought a BIXII rad and already having all the other parts decided with a spare afternoon it was time to do some plumbing!
Well i got the System out to the shed and thought...... F ck this shark case is a joke!
Deciding to use an old fav, i pulled out HP1 dusted her off made one minor mod to the rear for the pumbing and the old girl was set to beath life again
The old HP1 box.
Still got shine on her that makes me proud today, so i dusted her off and got to work!
First off was to work out a way of mounting a BIX2 rad without any major modding,
i came up with a awkward but solid way to "piggyback" the rad!
using an old gutted 120 sunnon fan this would be the new mount.
and without having to drill or mod the case (accept for 2 small hose feeder holes) the whole setup bolts right on to all the existing points.
for now im just using shitty antec 120's but i can easily upgrade these later.
Heres how it bolts on! almost tooo easy
I've beeeeeen hanging to bolt this DD nv-68 on to my quadro for ages now!!!!! finally got it done
