Y'know, I get the feeling Intel should just plain give up trying to make integrated 3D chips. You have not seen bad visual quality until you have seen this:

You shouldn't really use onboard graphics if you are a gamer....but it's okay for occasional light gamers if you stick to mostly 2D strategy games or older (2-3 years) 3D games. It's a great thing to keep costs down if you're building grandma an e-mail/ebay box.
