iPhone 3.0 error, old?

Is this a new error message, I updated my co-workers iPhone and he just received this error message. No way to really check where it came from or what caused it, but just sharing for others.

Hit the power+home button at the same time, your screen will turn white and a photo will be in your Camera roll section of photos.

I've had that happen under 2.1. Never could figure out what it was, nor could I repeat it. If it happens again, might want to log what the specifics were when it happened.

Haha... gotta love apple. If you have access to the xcode and the iphone sdk (it's free), you can download an error log from the phone that may give you more info about this error.
