Is UT3 DX10?

Tonight I just install UT3 under vista and I update the game with the version 1 patch. I don't know if the game is running in DX9 or DX10 is there a way to tell?
 
I may be talking out of my ass here but I believe I read somewhere that UT3 uses some DirectX10 features but is not really a showcase of what DirectX10 can do.

In all honesty I have it running on my Vista machine and I don't notice any difference from the DirectX9 version. The combat is so frantic at times rarely do I have a moment to admire the nice graphics of the rocket heading towards me.
 
DX10 is supported, but not required to run UT3.

I found eleventy hundred sources confirming this with a simple google query.

instead of bumping next time, please do some research.
 
It's claimed DirectX10 will run on Vista in UT3 tweakguide, but it runs in DirectX 9.
Fraps running a DirectX 10 game has a black box outline. UT3 runs DirectX 9. No black box.

Yes I did some research but I see some places UT3 listed on the list of DX10 games

I know not all are correct thats why I ask.
Also, was not sure that UT3 supports DX10 because the water just look the same as when playing in XP. Yes I was playing UT3 for 1 month but just decide to run in vista.

Fraps has black or dark spots around the fps numbers in Bioshock, before I didn't know why it was like that. Thanks ppl

Hey, maybe you should get your facts straight. It does NOT support DX10, at least not yet. It may with an upcoming patch, but there is absolutely NO WAY to run DX10 with UT3 right now. Fact.
 
didn't neither of those games have antialiasing? i played bioshock in DX10 and i never noticed any AA setting...
