Laptop DDR2-533 for Desktop DDR400!

I have two sticks of 256MB name brand DDR2-533 Laptop SODIMM memory that I pulled out of my laptop (which is the DV1708nr aka the $399 laptop in laptop reviews!) and I am in trouble:

I need DDR Desktop ram, stat!

I would prefer a 1GB stick but 512 is negotiable. My heat is boltaction69. Obviously the ram is guaranteed to function and is high quality from HP. Pics later.
